Leveraging over two decades of experience as a physician leader, I have collaborated with hospital administration to produce exemplary outcomes.

Having an outstanding track record of building bridges among community members, healthcare providers, and administrators, I have garnered support and promoted changes to improved hospital ratings and patient satisfaction scores. 

​

During the Merger & Acquisition of Cypress Fairbanks Hospital by HCA Healthcare System, I led medical staff integration.

​

I represented medical staff on the governing board for the hospital. 

​

As a Chief of Medical Staff, I founded the Physician Performance Improvement Council, where I partnered with the administration and physicians to ensure that goals were aligned for growth. I led the implementation of safety, quality, and risk management initiatives, while overseeing the peer review and credentialing processes.

My proven history of creating and implementing cost-effective, efficient medical interventions consistently resulted in me being frequently called upon by executive hospital leadership to advise on topics relating to academic concerns, treatment innovations, and public health issues.

In addition to my work within my community, I am also a vocal advocate for improvements in healthcare policy and have worked actively with US Congress and Texas Legislature to bring about those changes.
